You like being reminded that you are a good boy. Only good boys are reminded that they are a good boy. Do you deserve praise? Do you do as you’re told? You feel good when you do as I say. It makes you feel special when you do the things I tell you. You might not really like what I tell you to do, but you do it anyway because it feels good to accomplish tasks that I set for you. You feel especially like a good boy when you do. You need that praise, don’t you? You feel good, don’t you? My good little pet! Threatening you isn’t what you need. You just need to try again until you get it right, then you get your praise! It is what you need.
